Maverick spiced rum brand Dead Man’s Fingers has partnered with one of the world’s oldest tiki bars and home of the original Mai Tai, Trader Vic’s, to serve up a new cocktail with a rebellious kick at the spring edition of Cocktails in the City, taking place between 4^th and 6^th April at The Vaults, Waterloo.

Available at Trader Vic’s’ pop-up bar, the signature serve, Carbis Bay Sunrise, is named after a well-known bay in St Ives, to celebrate Dead Man’s Fingers’ Cornish roots. The cocktail is made using the progressive brand’s Spiced Rum, together with Crabbie’s Ginger Wine, rhubarb syrup, fresh lime, a dash of Angostura, and a splash of Franklin & Son’s Rhubarb & Hibiscus Tonic.

Channelling its laid-back island vibes, the famed rum bar is also installing an eye-catching, tropical-themed photo wall at the event, designed to offer plenty of photo opportunities and encourage visitors to share their experience on social media. What’s more, consumers will have the chance to take an instant Polaroid photo of them enjoying a drink at the pop-up, which can then be exchanged for a free cocktail at the Mayfair-based bar.
