Halewood lands premium Tennessee bourbon in the UK

Premium artisanal spirits company, Halewood Wines & Spirits, has today announced the release of a new, premium 12-year-old Tennessee Bourbon Whiskey – American Eagle.

American Eagle Tennessee Bourbon Whiskey aged 12 years

This exceptional Bourbon, which is made from a blend of corn, rye and malt, leads with refreshing aromas of lime, orange and sweet spices. Its complex palate comprising cinnamon, orange peel and raisins, followed by a creamy, smooth finish, is thanks to more than a decade spent aging inside oak casks.

The rich, redwood amber-coloured blended Bourbon, which has just received a gold medal at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, is bottled at 43% ABV. Commanding an RSP of £59.95, this award-winning 70cl expression is packaged in a premium glass bottle, which sets it apart on shelf. The expression is currently available at Master of Malt.

Strengthening Halewood’s enviable and diverse portfolio of artisanal spirits, American Eagle joins the likes of Whitley Neill Gin, JJ Whitley Gin, City of London Gin, Dead Man’s Fingers Spiced Rum and Crabbie Whisky, with the latter starting to work on its Edinburgh-based distillery, set to open later this year.

James Stocker, Marketing Director at Halewood Wines & Spirits, commented: “With the growing popularity of whiskies from around the world it’s the perfect time to bring American Eagle, a superlative Tennessee Bourbon, to the UK to tap into consumers’ interest in premium products. What’s more, we’re already toasting its gold medal victory at this year’s San Francisco World Spirits Competition – what better way to launch into a new market!”
