HALEWOOD TO STIMUL8 ENERGY DRINKS MARKET WITH A UK FIRST
No CommentsLeading independent drinks manufacturer and distributor, Halewood International, is further strengthening its soft drinks portfolio with the launch of the UK’s first non alcoholic energy drink with reputed aphrodisiac properties for men.
Stiumul8, which launches in trade this Monday (1st March), combines eight uplifting natural ingredients and will be available in a 60ml plastic bottle format. The product proposition is that it “makes a good night better.â€
The launch aims to capitalise on the sport and energy drinks market reported to be worth more than £1.3bn in 2009 according to Datamonitor.
Targeted at adult males, is a refreshing fruit flavoured drink containing a mixture of leaves, roots and berries derived from Damiana, Korean Ginseng, Echinacea, Schizandra and Ginkgo Biloba, all of which are renowned for their reputed aphrodisiac properties.
Available in the Off-Trade, the launch of Stimul8 will be supported by a six figure national campaign across radio, press, online, social media and PR. The campaign will encourage adult males to try Stimul8 so they can ‘Make a Good Night Better’.
Commenting, Richard Clark Head of Innovation said “With Stimul8, we have created a niche product that will generate intrigue and interest whilst at the same time widespread appeal. According to Datamonitor, the energy drinks market has grown by more than 20% over the past five years and similar growth is being projected over the next three years. This latest announcement in product innovation by Halewood International is expected to play a significant part in continuing to drive this category growth throughout 2010 and beyond.
Stimul8 will be available in the Off-Trade convenience sector and will retail at £2.99 a bottle.
