Lamb’s Spiced Launch Six Delicious New Cocktails for the On-Trade
Comments OffLamb’s Spiced Rum, produced by leading drinks manufacturer and distributor Halewood International, has created and launched a delicious collection of six Lamb’s Spiced cocktails with the expert help of Brand Ambassador and leading mixologist, Gary Hayward.
The cocktails have been created for use in the On-Trade, specifically by independent style bars, a sector which Lamb’s Spiced Rum is actively targeting for listings, however some of the cocktails are suitable for larger outlets. The collection which includes: Chilled Gecko, Spiced Strawberry Daiquiri, Spiced Gecko, Old Spiced, Silence of the Lambs and Lamb’s Spiced Tea, delivers a unique taste with a refreshing twist of spice. The fusion of traditional and contemporary ingredients gives the Lamb’s Spiced Rum cocktails a distinctive taste which enlightens and pleasures the palate.
Lamb’s Spiced Rum point of sale kits will be distributed to supporting bars to promote the cocktails and the brand. POS kits include branded aprons, bottle openers, jigsaw piece beer mats, cocktail recipe cards and Gecko clings.
Thanks to the sampling success at the recent Lamb’s Spiced Rum summer events at Boutique bar in Leeds, Socio Rehab in Manchester and The Peacock in Liverpool, the cocktails are already going down a storm in the Northern bar scene. The summer events enjoyed a fantastic turnout of city professionals and trend setting students alike with the feedback being that they would definitely look to order Lamb’s Spiced Rum again. With summer events scheduled to roll out across the rest of the country over the next few months, Lamb’s Spiced Rum is set to be the key ingredient for a night out this summer.
Listings have already been secured at a number of independent style bars across the country; however the creation of the Lamb’s Spiced Rum cocktails gives the rum a unique selling point for bartenders which will increase the visibility of the brand on cocktail menus up and down the country generating more interest and listings in the On-Trade.

The summer events, which are taking place in style bars across key cities in the UK, are split into daytime and evening activities. During the day Lamb’s Spiced Rum engage with the On-Trade offering a talk on the science of taste, aroma and flavour by mixologist Gary Hayward, followed by a rum infusion competition for bartenders with a cash prize.
In the evening the events are opened up to the public offering them a chance to taste the Lamb’s Spiced Rum cocktails, and experience the brand through cupcakes, Gecko Girls and tattoos!
